We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Patrick VC Gardens. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing reactive and planned preventative maintenance services to ensure the aged care home is always in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide support and management to the maintenance team with labouring duties associated with general maintenance activities.">
  • Work as part of a dynamic team to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance services.">
  • Maintain homes to the highest standard by working to established best practice.">
  • Work in a busy team environment with no day the same.">
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including patching & painting, replacing globes, and all aspects of basic building maintenance.">
  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation, and system processes are adhered to.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an aged care setting.">
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.">
  • A current NSW driver's license.">
  • The ability to interact with elderly residents on a day-to-day basis.">
  • A valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check.">
