This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:- Pre-court preparation involves adhering to procedures and quality benchmarks.
- Risk assessments, referrals, and submissions are critical components of this role.
- Liaison with stakeholders, including Magistrates, Judges, and community organisations, is essential for providing quality services and outcomes.
- Post-court advice and documentation are also key responsibilities.
- Maintenance of office systems and development of new systems for efficient management are ongoing tasks.
- Participation in strategic planning and decision-making is required as a member of the youth justice service centre management team.
- Consultancy and mentoring services on youth justice matters may be provided to departmental staff and stakeholders.
- Casework, restorative justice tasks, and professional development activities are ongoing responsibilities.
- Cultural capability and commitment to inclusivity align with the Human Rights Act 2019.
