Job Title

Lead Strategic Procurement and Property Management

This role involves driving continuous improvements in procurement and leading the strategic management of a property portfolio. The successful candidate will lead a centre-led procurement team, building strong relationships across the organisation while driving a culture of continuous improvement to deliver value and impact.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with extensive experience in procurement, contract management and property services, ideally within a public sector context. You will have a record of successfully leading change programs, backed by strong financial and commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Council's centre-led procurement team
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement to deliver value and impact
  • Strategically managing Council's property portfolio
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, law, finance, economics or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in procurement, contract management and property services
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Emotional intelligence and political acumen
