We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Geotechnical Specialist.

The successful candidate will be part of our accomplished Geotechnical and Tunnels section, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver successful projects across various sectors.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals who possess expertise in soil and rock mechanics, geological formations and ground behaviour, site investigations and sampling, and analysis for geological and geotechnical reporting.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting survey analysis on soil and rock mechanics
  • Investigating geological formations and ground behaviour
  • Conducting fieldwork activities including site investigations and sampling
  • Studying the effects of natural events on engineering project site developments
  • Managing and performing analysis for geological and geotechnical reporting
  • Providing safety leadership and preparing proposals for clients

To be successful in this role, candidates should have a tertiary degree in Geology or Engineering Geology, at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, ability to travel and work on remote sites when required, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
