Culinary Specialist

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking traditional Chinese noodle dishes according to our established recipes and quality standards.
You will assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and marinating meats. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace at all times is also essential.
To ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met, you must adhere to strict guidelines and protocols. Additionally, you will operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Your role will involve collaborating with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to guarantee smooth operations. You will also be responsible for managing inventory and reporting any shortages to your supervisor.
As part of our team, you will have opportunities to train new kitchen staff and perform other duties as assigned by your manager or head chef.
Requirements and QualificationsWe seek candidates who possess previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary setting, preferably with Chinese and Asian cuisine. Strong communication skills, particularly fluency in English, are also essential.
Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork ability and a positive attitude. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness are crucial qualities we value.
You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift heavy items is also necessary.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is required. Lastly, enthusiasm for traditional Chinese noodles and a willingness to learn are highly desirable traits.
