Job Title: Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our culinary team in a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and cook a wide range of dishes in line with established recipes and quality standards.
  • To ensure consistent, high-quality food presentation and plating across all service periods.
  • To maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times.
  • To collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine on menu development and innovation.
  • To support the growth of the team by training and mentoring junior kitchen colleagues.
  • To adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • To assist with inventory control and the ordering of kitchen supplies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a premium dining restaurant or hotel/resort kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Passion for creating innovative, delicious dishes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery).
