We are seeking a diligent and analytical professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring investment banks and intermediaries, analyzing market activity, and contributing to regulatory outcomes that support fair and efficient markets.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Market Activity: You will be tasked with closely observing the behavior of market participants to ensure Australia's financial markets operate with integrity and transparency.
- Analyze Regulatory Issues: Utilize your analytical skills to analyze regulatory issues in a financial services environment, such as trading, corporate finance, investment banking, or within a regulator.
- Contribute to Regulatory Outcomes: Contribute to operational and strategic team goals by providing internal advice, reports, and briefings for regulatory matters.
- Relevant Experience: You must have experience in compliance, risk, or analysis of regulatory issues in a financial services environment.
- Skillset: A strong understanding of financial markets, regulations, and compliance is essential. Proficiency in research and analysis is also required.
We regulate corporations, markets, financial services, and consumer credit, and we monitor and promote market integrity and consumer protection in the Australian financial system.
