Job Title: Principal Integration Delivery Specialist

Queensland Health is seeking a highly skilled Principal Integration Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the design, planning, and implementation of technical solutions that align with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and specify large or complex systems, selecting appropriate design standards, methods, and tools consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of technical specialisms and provide expert advice on their application.
  • Manage the development, publication, implementation, and compliance of all program/project deliverables and related standards and procedures at an enterprise level.
  • Lead the assessment, analysis, development, documentation, and implementation planning of large complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementations.
  • Manage a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.
  • Provide advice and guidance to technical staff regarding issues being experienced in the production environment.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience leading the design, publication, implementation, compliance, and delivery of technical solutions to industry best practice frameworks for large-scale, complex IM/ICT infrastructure delivery programs/projects, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and testing HL7 messaging and Java-based message-oriented middleware solutions.
  • Prioritizing, scheduling, and managing the delivery of new capability between project, development, operational, and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and document stakeholder objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems.
Working Conditions:

Variable hours: Weekend and after-hours work may be required (at various locations in Queensland as determined by business needs) and may be requested at short notice.

While not mandatory, any relevant qualifications in Information Communication Technology or similar would be highly desirable.

This position may be required to work at different sites.

The position may be required to work outside of standard business hours.
