Skilled Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate clinical practitioner to join our team at Uniting. As a skilled clinical practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a multi-disciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic nurse who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents. You will have the chance to work in a supportive and dynamic environment with a focus on delivering exceptional care and service.
- You will be a clinical leader in the service, developing, delivering, and evaluating resident care plans to meet individual needs.
- You'll need sharp clinical assessment skills and take the lead in providing clinical services.
- Get to know each resident and become a fundamental part of their life.
- Play an important role in ensuring the care provided meets residents' individual goals.
- You'll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents' family members to advocate for clients' quality of life.
- Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers.
- Practice in a holistic way, using critical decision-making skills to lead the team.

Support to develop the skills you need to grow into a service manager, deputy service manager, clinical nurse educator, and other clinical practice, corporate, and leadership roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
- Adaptability, empathy, resourcefulness, great time management, and living Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
- Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
- Nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
