Chandler Macleod is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to lead and manage quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of resident and client safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional resident/client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and its processes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards in aged care, home care, the Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Lead quality initiatives aligned with the organisation's Clinical Governance Framework.
  • Coordinate and prepare for external reviews and audits.
  • Monitor non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage complaints processes and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Promote a culture of quality improvement across the organisation.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline.
  • Experience working within a Clinical Governance Framework.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, legislation, and care outcomes in aged care and disability sectors.
  • Proven ability to implement and influence organisation-wide quality initiatives.
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office, QMS, and benchmarking tools.
  • Desirable: Lead Auditor or Quality Aged Care Assessor qualifications.
