Critical Care Specialist

Job Overview
This role provides diverse training experiences tailored to individual needs.
The year plan may include ICU, Anaesthetics, Hamilton Hospital Emergency Department, Emergency at University Hospital Geelong (UHG), Cardiology and annual leave cover.
Applicants interested in the Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) should indicate this preference when answering key selection criteria.
The Critical Care Year plus the EMC will be offered by the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
Successful applicants will work under direct supervision of a FACEM for three months at UHG ED and three months at the Hamilton Base hospital.
UHG FACEMs visit Hamilton Base Hospital monthly and are available weekly for case review and discussion. The EMC also offers a pathway to complete a Diploma in Emergency Medicine via ACEM.
