About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in need. This role presents a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and compassionate team, making a real difference in people's lives.

Job Description

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients through mentorship and counselling.
  • Developing and implementing engaging programs and activities that promote skill-building, leadership, and personal growth.
  • Collaborating with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance resources and support for clients.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals within the community.
  • Providing educational resources and conducting training sessions on relevant topics.
  • Responding to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in disability support or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Australian driver's license.
