About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our Group Supply Chain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of raw materials to support our manufacturing plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Suppliers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
  • Order Management: Place orders for raw materials from suppliers to meet our manufacturing production plans.
  • Risk Management: Identify and escalate material supply risks that may impact our site to internal stakeholders and the National Raw Materials team.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure SAP ordering and inventory integrity.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Plan and manage raw materials to minimize obsolescence and optimize supply chain efficiency.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You should have a strong understanding of planning concepts and experience working in a fast-paced organization, preferably in the FMCG industry.

Requirements

  • Sound Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Understanding/exposure to planning concepts.
  • Experience within a fast-paced organization, ideally FMCG.
