This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and deliver high-quality MRI services to patients and clients. As the head of the MRI department, you will be responsible for setting professional standards, objectives, and priorities for the team.

  • Lead the MRI Department with a high degree of professional independence.
  • Bring expertise and leadership to guide the department in achieving exceptional outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be qualified and registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, with a current SA Radiation Licence and Level 1 MRI Accreditation. You should have experience in performing both standard and complex MRI procedures, as well as strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, apply initiative, and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous professional development.
  • Strong communicator and team leader, able to supervise, mentor, and provide professional direction across a range of staff levels.
