Lead Cyber Security Strategist

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the University's cyber security capabilities. As a pivotal member of our team, you will drive the implementation of our cyber security strategy, ensuring the protection of data, systems, and networks across the institution.

This key role provides strategic leadership in cyber security governance, risk management, incident response, and policy implementation. You will lead multidisciplinary security teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Your Impact:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance on governance, risk management, and incident response.
  • Lead high-performing security teams, driving organisational change and improvement.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks, including ISM, SOCI, DISP, and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Build strong partnerships across the University, government, and industry to advance security outcomes.
