Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
This is an exciting pre-opening opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial infrastructure of a new hotel from the ground up.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and leading all financial systems, policies, and internal controls necessary for the hotel's successful launch.
You will partner with the General Manager and leadership team to drive profitability, develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and provide insightful financial analysis to guide business decisions.
A key part of this role is ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial reporting (weekly, monthly, annual) for stakeholders, overseeing general accounting functions, and upholding stringent internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
To thrive in this dynamic environment, you will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of hotel operations and financial management.
You are a seasoned finance professional with a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, and preferably CA or CPA qualified. You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within the hotel industry, ideally including a pre-opening.
