Job Title:

Leading Web Security Solutions Technical Manager

About the Role:

This role will focus on leading complex WAF deployment projects utilising either Akamai, Imperva or Cloudflare technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web security principles and best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex WAF deployment projects utilising either Akamai, Imperva or Cloudflare technologies

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Security, Development, and Operations

  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets

  • Develop and maintain project documentation and status reporting

  • Drive risk management and mitigation strategies

  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and engagement

Requirements:

  • Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in technical project management

  • Demonstrated experience managing WAF implementations, ideally Akamai, Imperva or Cloudflare

  • Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices

  • Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale security projects

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Relevant project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent)

  • Akamai, Imperva or Cloudflare experience

  • Experience with agile methodologies

  • Knowledge of OWASP security frameworks

  • Background in e-commerce or financial services

  • Understanding of CDN technologies

  • Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or similar)
