As a key player in the technology for social justice sector, we are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to lead our information security program.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, this permanent part-time role (3 days per week) will oversee the design, configuration and implementation of security standards for Managed Services offerings, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting security assessments, supporting customers during external audits, developing and implementing security policies, procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, configure and implement security standards for Managed Services offerings
- Conduct security assessments and support customers during external audits
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures organisation-wide
- Stay updated on security trends, technologies and best practices
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in information security, with knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ASD's Essential 8, ISO 27001/2, NIST and RFFR
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking under pressure
- Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Stakeholder management, requirements gathering and negotiation skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable
