As a key player in the technology for social justice sector, we are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to lead our information security program.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, this permanent part-time role (3 days per week) will oversee the design, configuration and implementation of security standards for Managed Services offerings, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting security assessments, supporting customers during external audits, developing and implementing security policies, procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure and implement security standards for Managed Services offerings
  • Conduct security assessments and support customers during external audits
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures organisation-wide
  • Stay updated on security trends, technologies and best practices
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in information security, with knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ASD's Essential 8, ISO 27001/2, NIST and RFFR
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking under pressure
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management, requirements gathering and negotiation skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable
