Chief Information Security Officer

The role involves leading the security components of solution designs, working closely with project teams, engineers and systems integrators to ensure secure implementation of solutions.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of secure-by-design principles, system hardening guidance and Defence frameworks. They will provide expert advice on secure system design, review and assure architecture documentation and ensure alignment with Defence standards and frameworks.
- Apply secure-by-design principles and guidelines from Information Security Manual and ASD Blueprint for Secure Cloud.
- Implement system hardening guidance.
Key Requirements:
- NV1 Security Clearance;
- Deep knowledge of secure system design and cyber security best practices;
- Experience with Defence frameworks and security documentation;
- Azure, AWS or Google Cloud certifications (or 5+ years' equivalent experience);
- ISSAP, CISSP, CCSP or similar security architecture credentials;
