Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled mergers and acquisitions specialist to join our team. This role requires strong commercial acumen, sharp decision-making skills, and the ability to review complex legal, tax, financial, and other risks associated with corporate transactions.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience structuring and negotiating bespoke insurance policies with lawyers and brokers domestically and abroad.
  • You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders involved in the M&A process, including lawyers, bankers, and brokers.
  • In addition, you will work closely with the leadership and marketing team to contribute to marketing content, materials, and campaigns.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in business and commerce, a commercial approach to risk assessment, and sharp decision-making skills. You will be able to effectively assess and price risks considering factors such as business sector, deal structure, jurisdiction, and indemnification obligations in accordance with underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Quote, project manage, and underwrite representation and warranty insurance policies in connection with M&A transactions.
  • Structure and negotiate bespoke insurance policies with lawyers and brokers domestically and abroad.
  • Win new business and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders involved in the M&A process.
  • Effectively assess and price risks considering factors such as business sector, deal structure, jurisdiction, and indemnification obligations in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Build and develop positive working relationships with brokers, clients, lawyers, and other key stakeholders involved in the M&A process.

  • Motivated M&A professional with a strong interest in business and commerce.
  • Commercial approach to risk assessment and sharp decision-making skills.
  • Ability to review complex legal, tax, financial, and other risks associated with corporate transactions.
