About this Role:

Senior Treasury Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial health of Australia's leading retirement living providers.

Your key responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting daily cash positions, preparing and analysing rolling cash flow forecasts, managing transactional banking operations, reconciling and processing interest and treasury-related fees, and supporting the preparation of treasury reports and presentations.

You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of financial models to support funding and investment decisions, coordinating internal and external reporting, and identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

In addition, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline treasury workflows and reporting tools, and maintain and support Treasury Management Systems (Excel, Power BI and G Treasury).

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline;
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in treasury, finance, or a related analytical role;
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial modelling tools, and experience with Power BI and TMS (G Treasury) is desirable;
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • A proactive and adaptable approach with a continuous improvement mindset;
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders;
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured, organised and collaborative way;
