Job Opportunity: Experienced Systems Administrator

  • A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Sydney.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in complex Windows operating environments, excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide frontline technical support to staff for desktop hardware, software and peripheral devices.
  2. Install, configure and maintain desktop software applications used within the organization, ensuring compatibility and compliance with relevant accreditation.
  3. Manage queues through our service management tool, raising and resolving incidents and service requests.
  4. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for common desktop practices and solutions.
  5. Perform routine maintenance on desktop hardware, including upgrades and replacements.
  6. Maintain an asset register and perform regular audits.
  7. Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement IT projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of various legacy Windows operating systems (Win7, XP).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting legacy hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
