About the Role

As a key member of the City of Sydney's team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Deputy Lord Mayor's office. Your primary responsibility will be to provide evidence-based advice and lead the work of collaboration and engagement with stakeholders.

  • You will have demonstrated experience in policy and/or research for government, not-for-profit or advocacy organisations.
  • Preparation of policy notes, communications materials, and stakeholder correspondence will be an essential part of your role.
  • Engaging collaboratively with government, community organisations, progressive movements, and resident groups will also be expected of you.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills across digital communications, including writing newsletters, electronic direct mail (EDMs), reports, social media content, creating videos, and using graphic design tools to produce high-quality visual materials.
