About the Role

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Storesperson. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient acceptance of inbound goods and stores destined for use in the catering area. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Stock Management
- Ensuring goods required by the catering team are available on time and in the required quantities.
- Packaging and Storage
- Ensuring delivered items are packed to acceptable hygiene and other specifications.
- Inventory Control
- Managing the stock in the store effectively to ensure space is available for incoming goods as required.
- Quality Assurance
- Maintaining the company's policy in relation to HACCP. QSAI and WHS in accordance with Federal and State Government Regulations.
- Problem-Solving
- Anticipating potential problems and take appropriate actions to eliminate or manage their impact.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current Forklift license (high reach preferred),
- Experience using manual and automated pallet jacks,
- Good knowledge of basic HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI requirements,
- Basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures,
- Good knowledge of WHS,
- Good knowledge of Storehouse and procedures,
- Good Microsoft Office skills,
- Excellent organizational skills,
- Excellent product knowledge,
- A clear National Police Check, and
- Availability to work 38 hours/week.
