About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in Sydney as an NDIS Support Coordinator.

This key role involves working with participants to explore options and choices available to them, ensuring they have the support they need to live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore mainstream, community, advocate, informal, and NDIS provider options with participants to ensure they are engaged in decision-making.
  • Support participants to establish their MyID account, navigate the NDIS Portal, and negotiate services with providers of their choice.
  • Negotiate services and prices as part of any quotable supports decided by the participant.
  • Arrange relevant assessments to determine funding requirements (e.g., complex home modifications).
  • Liaise with Plan Managers on funding, support types, payments, and other matters where relevant.
  • Link participants to mainstream and/or community services (e.g., housing, education, transport, health) as required.
Essential Qualifications
  • Diploma or higher tertiary qualifications in disability/community services/social sciences/allied health and equivalent knowledge/experience.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Fluency in a language other than English.
  • Experience working with First Nations communities and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
