We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients through various means. This role plays a pivotal part in providing holistic care, supporting our aging clients, and maximizing their mobility, functional capacity, independence, and well-being.
This position requires an Occupational Therapist to provide professional services based on individual client needs and goals. Travel around the ACT is necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Compilation of home modification reports
- Evaluation and recommendation of aids/equipment
- Occupational therapy interventions and education
- Health promotion activities and advice
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Australian Driver's License and access to a vehicle
- Previous experience working in an Aged Care environment - aged care experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with others
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and be confident working independently when required
- Capacity to organize and conduct health screening and functional assessments
