Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to support our project team in delivering objectives and milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a culture of safety
  • Construct high-voltage and fibre optic substation networks for gas gathering well sites
  • Develop and review work packs, risk assessments, SWMS, and subcontractor mobilisation plans
  • Collaborate with project disciplines for uninterrupted execution of work
  • Perform daily site visits and ensure quality documentation is accurate and timely
  • Provide technical support to construction crews
  • Manage closeout and handover of construction to pre-commissioning packages
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position on a large engineering/construction project
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and deliver on deadlines
  • Proven verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Qualifications in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous areas – Design, Install and Maintenance
  • RPEQ qualification and HV experience desirable
