Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts professional to join our team and play a crucial role in financial record-keeping, stakeholder liaison, and deal processing. As an integral part of the organization, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, investigating discrepancies, and providing support to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Processing: End-to-end responsibility for allocated brands, ensuring timely processing and compliance with organizational procedures.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Investigate or advise on discrepancies in accounts, providing solutions and recommendations to ensure seamless operations.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general journals, manufacturer payments, and finance & insurance invoices.
  • Payouts and Debtors: Complete daily floorplan payouts with multiple financiers, allocate debtors payments, and reconcile balancesheets.
  • Administration and Support: Provide general support to the Accounts department, completing ad-hoc administration duties and assisting with franchise-related tasks and queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounts Experience: Proven experience in an accounts department, with a strong understanding of financial procedures and record-keeping.
  • Automotive Background: While not essential, experience in an automotive dealership is desirable, demonstrating knowledge of industry-specific processes and procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both within the department and with external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and intermediate Excel skills, ensuring accurate and efficient financial record-keeping.
