We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Second in Charge. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for children in our care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of engaging experiences based on the preferences of children in your program">
  • Support compliance with industry regulations">
  • Interact with parents and help with enquiries">
  • Engage with the school community and attend events when necessary">
  • Play and interact with primary school-aged children">
  • Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program">

Working hours:

This role is part-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:45pm - 6:00pm, totaling 26.25 hours per week.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience working in before and after school care or education is desirable, but not essential. We can provide training for the right candidate.
