This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a wide range of customer and digital priorities in Queensland.

The role presents an exciting challenge to create engaging, inclusive, accessible and measurable digital experiences for the people of Queensland.

To achieve this, you will work collaboratively within a cross-functional team to design digital solutions with a focus on user experience, consistency, accessibility, performance, and scalability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and facilitating workshops and co-design sessions to support product or service life cycles
  • Conducting primary research through user testing and customer interviews
  • Analysing customer research to produce reports, journey maps and recommendations
  • Developing site maps, flow diagrams and prototypes based on user research and insights
  • Working with stakeholders to build human-centred design and customer experience capabilities across Queensland Government

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in designing customer-focused digital products and enhancements
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to inform and collaborate with peers and stakeholders
  • Achieving results in high-profile fast-paced environments
  • Building and sustaining positive working relationships to collaborate and work as part of a team
