An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Catering Officer to join Regional Express Holdings Limited at Melbourne Airport.
Reporting:
The Catering Officer will report to the Ramp and Catering Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading aircraft, and assisting with documentation completion
- Marshalling catering vehicles onto and away from aircraft
- Loading and unloading catering vehicles, maintaining stock levels, and performing general warehouse duties
- Receiving stock from suppliers, temperature recording, and building or replenishing food and bar drawers
- Counting and reconciling bar sheets, ensuring warehouse cleanliness, and assisting with GSE checks and refuelling
- Ensuring safety and security of personnel on the aircraft apron and reporting accidents and incidents
- Adhering to company policies and procedures, and assisting with ramp duties as required
Selection Criteria:
- Previous airline experience is preferred
- Able to obtain an ASIC and Airside Driver's Licence
- Current driver's licence and MR licence desirable
- Able to work shift work, including early starts, evenings, and weekends
- High standard of physical fitness and professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment and commit to on-time performance
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions
