As a Manager of Regulatory Policy, you will lead a team focused on developing and delivering legislative projects.

This role sits within the SafeWork NSW Division in the Regulatory Policy team. The successful candidate will have significant knowledge of legislative reform proposal development, drafting and preparation of discussion papers for consultation, proposed draft legislation and government processes for changes to legislation and policy.

**Job Description**

- Lead research and review of complex policy and/or legislative reform issues
- Develop stakeholder relationships, providing expert advice across government including between jurisdictions as members of a national framework that has adopted model WHS laws
- Coordinate and facilitate consultation and negotiation on policy and/or legislative reform issues
- Oversee the preparation of reports, briefs and correspondence responding to agency and government requests
- Manage people and resources, maintaining awareness of relevant issues, policy obligations, insights, challenges and industry trends

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

- Significant experience working within intergovernmental arrangements, preferably involving model or uniform legislative frameworks
- Demonstrated experience operationalising policy within regulatory or government environments
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience dealing with diverse and senior stakeholders
