Legal Advisor Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape legislative understanding and compliance across NSW government operations.

  • We are seeking a Legal Advisor to deliver clear, strategic legal advice on administrative, privacy, and information access legislation.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, ideally within tribunals or judicial review contexts.
  • The role involves preparing high-quality written materials including legal submissions, briefing papers, and reports.
  • You will lead or support law reform and legislative interpretation projects in line with regulatory obligations.
About the Role
  • The successful applicant must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in NSW and hold (or be eligible for) a current NSW Practising Certificate.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex legal matters independently are essential.
  • You should have outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an ability to distil complex legal language.
  • Collaborative team players with high-level research skills are encouraged to apply.
