About Our Opportunity

At Herbert Smith Freehills, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Early Careers Recruiter to join our national Early Careers team in Sydney.

We have been ranked as the #1 Graduate Employer in the legal sector by Prosple and nominated as a finalist for AAGE's Outstanding Internship Program award. This role will be pivotal in continuing that success by attracting, selecting, and developing early career talent throughout the Sydney office.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work closely with our Senior Manager, Early Careers, and Graduate Recruitment Partners to drive our Sydney early careers strategy. You will also be the face of HSF externally, enhancing our employment brand with students, universities, and key external suppliers.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire graduate recruitment lifecycle, including campus activities, graduate resourcing, and permanent placements.
  • Lead attraction and engagement strategies for early career talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive applicant pool.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment processes to attract top talent, focusing on exceptional candidate experience and continuous improvement.
  • Act as HR Business Partner to graduates, providing support, guidance, and mentorship to help them succeed in their roles.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 AUD per annum, based on experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 26 weeks paid parental leave, holistic wellbeing fund, and home office allowance.
