Registered Nurse Opportunity


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Regional Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work on various units across Summa Health Akron and Berberton Campuses, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the staffing needs of our medical teams.


Job Description:

This role requires a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio. We seek candidates with at least one year of related RN experience in a specialty area such as Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Critical Care, or Behavioral Health.


The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe and supportive environment is essential for this role.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Formal Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body.
  • Experience: At least one year of related RN experience in a specialty area such as Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Critical Care, or Behavioral Health.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support certification; Additional certifications required for specialty areas as defined.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.
