The Role
  • Provide high-standard clinical care according to professional standards, best practice, and person-centred care to patients at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) and Repatriation site.
  • Collaborate within podiatry and multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery of high-quality healthcare, improving patient foot health.
  • Lead and/or participate in quality improvement, research, and education, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate ability to function independently while contributing to and collaborating within a team environment to achieve patient and podiatry service goals.
  • Show well-developed organisational, decision-making, and time management skills, adapting to complex environments and prioritising daily workload.

Salary: $106,966 to $123,013 per annum, pro rata. The Department offers a range of benefits, including salary packaging for living expenses, meal entertainment, and other perks if eligible.

The Team

The Podiatry department in Hobart is ready to welcome you to its team. This is an opportunity to join the Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) team, providing restorative and rehabilitation services to older people, promoting movement and independence in activities of daily living.

This role involves expanding inpatient podiatry services and joining a multidisciplinary team. You will have access to salary package a range of benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility
  • Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Podiatry Board of Australia.

We encourage applications from experienced Podiatrists or those demonstrating ability to work in a senior position. Current Driver's Licence and postgraduate studies are desirable requirements.
