Technical Expert for Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance

About the Role:

We require an experienced technical expert in guided weapons and explosive ordnance to support our defence customers. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with a passion for innovation and commitment to supporting national security through the development of a sovereign Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance industrial base.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and management on major defence projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with defence standards and regulations

The ideal candidate will have experience working within complex defence projects and excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team engagement. They will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge transfer to their peers.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in defence technology, engineering or related technical field
  • Strong understanding of defence standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience working on major defence projects (CASG experience desired)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Defence Security Clearance.
