Combat Systems Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled engineers to fill key roles in our consulting services and Integrated Work Packages. As a team member, you will work on complex projects that shape Australia's future.

The role involves overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upgrades of sophisticated combat and electronic systems, managing system installations, upgrades, and integration projects, diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, and collaborating with specialists to integrate weapons and communication systems into broader naval operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the maintenance, repair, and upgrades of advanced combat and electronic systems.
  • Manage complex system installations, upgrades, and integration projects to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Resolve intricate system problems to ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with experts to integrate weapons and communication systems into broader naval operations.

Your work will involve prioritizing complex tasks, managing engineering investigations, and working independently.

Requirements
  • Strong experience in systems engineering, certification, and sustainment of combat systems within Defence or government sectors.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, or related disciplines) OR equivalent Defence Industry experience.
  • Familiarity with ASDEFCON processes, Defence Capability Lifecycle (CLC), and naval combat systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize complex tasks, and manage engineering investigations.
