Support Worker Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Narrabri, NSW. This permanent part-time position involves working 3 days a week and will be based at the local office.

About the Position
  • Provide mental health support to individuals and groups within the community.
  • Work across multiple programs, supporting people with mental health issues to access community services.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, staff, and other organisations.
Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting people with mental health issues to engage with their community.
  • Providing case coordination for individuals, ensuring effective outcomes.
  • Assessing client safety, developing plans and intervening where necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions.
About You
  • Tertiary education or equivalent experience in social work, psychology, community services, or mental health.
  • A valid NSW driver's licence.
  • An understanding of mental health issues and their impact on individuals' lives.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
