Rehabilitation is vital work that requires dedication and expertise. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of individuals who have sustained psychological injuries at work or may be facing personal challenges at home or in the community.

About the Role

You will use your clinical expertise to support clients' journeys as they return to work and life through various services such as insurance schemes, employment services, and disability employment services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking vocational and psychological assessments to assist in determining vocational needs, psychological capabilities, and overall functioning to inform and support return to work facilitation.
  • Making a real impact in the lives of those who have sustained psychological injuries at work or may be facing personal challenges at home or in the community.
  • Using your clinical expertise to support clients' journeys as they return to work and life.
  • Minimising the impact of injuries, illness, and disability through delivery of prevention, rehabilitation, and training services.
  • Providing brief evidence-based interventions and counselling to job seekers and injured workers to improve mental health and wellbeing, and promote recovery.

The successful candidate will have the ability to adapt and work with a variety of clients across a range of tasks. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, have enthusiasm for new opportunities and ongoing learning, and commit to being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

The requirements for this role include:

  • Professional registration with relevant professional bodies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
