Emergency Veterinary Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinary Nurse to deliver exceptional care to animals in emergency situations.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the overall success of our hospital by providing top-notch care, assisting veterinarians, and communicating effectively with pet owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Top-Notch Care
  • Providing nursing care to patients in emergency and critical care situations.
  • Assisting veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries.
  • Monitoring and assessing patient vital signs.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Communicating effectively with pet owners, providing updates on patient status and offering support.
  • Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records.
  • Participating in continuous education to stay current with advancements in veterinary nursing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience post qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
