Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our Emergency and Critical Care team at North Shore Veterinary Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and patient care-focused individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-end patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

This role involves working directly with ECC specialists, interns, and other veterinarians to deliver exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and recording patient vitals, identifying and reporting abnormalities, and participating in continuing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and record patient vitals using Smart Flow system
  • Identify and report abnormalities in patient condition
  • Work closely with ECC specialists and other team members to deliver high-end patient care
  • Participate in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with latest techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
  • Experience in specialty and/or critical care role
  • Further training in ECC nursing role preferred
  • Ability to work well within a close-knit team and adapt to changing work environments and schedules
