Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for Home Care Support Workers to join our NSW team. As a member of our team, you will provide assistance to elderly clients living at home, promoting their independence and quality of life.

  • Assist with domestic duties and household chores, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Encourage social engagement and participate in activities with clients.
  • Provide transport services to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

You will work closely with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences. You will be required to maintain compliance with organisational standards and policies while promoting the core values of Anglicare.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker in Home Care or Disability is desirable.
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community) is also desirable.
  • You must have a valid NSW Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • You will need current accredited First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Vaccination against Covid and Flu is highly recommended.
  • You should have basic computer and smartphone working knowledge.
