We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team, providing assistance to elderly clients living at home. The successful candidate will promote independence and choice, and provide support with daily living tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with domestic duties and household chores
  • Prepare and cook meals
  • Provide social support and encourage engagement in social activities
  • Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Respite care, providing a break for carers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker in Home Care or Disability
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community) desirable
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence
  • Reliable vehicle for transporting clients
  • Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Vaccinated against Covid and Flu
  • Basic computer and smartphone working knowledge
