Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with domestic duties and household chores, including washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Prepare and cook meals for clients, promoting healthy eating and independence.
- Provide social support and encourage clients to engage in social activities, reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide transport for clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
- Offer respite care, giving carers a break and providing a much-needed rest.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Support Worker in Home Care or Disability is desirable.
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community) is also desirable.
- A valid NSW Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle are essential.
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certification is required.
- Vaccination against Covid and Flu is highly recommended.
- Basic computer and smartphone working knowledge is necessary.
