
Financial Record Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and generate financial reports for management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, updating general ledgers, and maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate entry of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support effective financial planning.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to obtain necessary financial information and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Provide support during the annual audit process and assist in the preparation of necessary documents.
- Stay updated with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist with general administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in bookkeeping (preferred)
- Proficiency in MYOB or Xero (preferred)
- Bachelor Degree (desired)
Benefits:
- Part-time hours: 24 per week
- Salary: $21.42 - $47.56 per hour
