Bookkeeping Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial record-keeping and preferably in accounting software.

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including creating invoices, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Process payroll, including calculating and processing employee wages, superannuation contributions.
  • Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts for the business.
  • Ensure the business is compliant with tax laws, including preparing and submitting tax returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and manage all financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting to ensure the business remains financially stable.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Experience in using accounting software, preferably Xero.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
