Lamb Production Planning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our Lamb team in Brooklyn.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating daily/weekly production plans and schedules that balance supply and demand variables
  • Developing labour resource plans optimized to production schedule requirements
  • Collaborating with production & sales teams for clear communication and alignment of business outcomes
  • Optimizing plant resources and costs through scheduling improvements
  • Driving continuous improvement in planning/scheduling processes and participating in specific projects as required
  • Resolving production planning issues and implementing appropriate procedures and frameworks
  • Compiling weekly reports on production performance and providing recommendations for planning opportunities to improve Plant productivity

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and concepts of production planning/scheduling within complex manufacturing environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with proven ability to deliver efficiencies and cost savings
  • Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to communicate complex information cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and tertiary studies in Business or equivalent
