About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yooralla.

This is a permanent, part-time or full-time opportunity based in Endeavour Hills or Narre Warren. Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in speech pathology, be a member of Speech Pathology Australia, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist with Yooralla, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to children with disabilities.

Your working days may involve delivering therapy in various settings, such as homes, educational environments, or the community, aimed at maximising a child's functional skills and participation while promoting their physical health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualised speech pathology services to children with disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists
  • Provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in speech pathology
  • Membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with children and their families
  • Ability to work in partnership with children with disabilities to set and achieve goals
  • Competency in IT platforms, particularly client management systems
  • Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel across southern suburbs as required
