About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Sydney office. As a key member of our Structures team, you will be responsible for managing projects, delegating workload, and interfacing with key clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Structural team and gain exposure to projects and clients locally, as well as our team and projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake varied engineering tasks as part of a project team, successfully delivering to our clients' requirements.
  • Run projects independently and gain experience which will lead you to a more senior role.
  • Collaborate with the Structural team to deliver value engineering solutions and create structures with performance efficiencies.
  • Draw on market and industry connections to make things happen.
Requirements
  • Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-10 years industry experience.
  • CPEng qualified.
  • Design experience in large concrete frame buildings and steel structures across industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors.
  • Solid understanding of geotechnical and basement walls/retention, seismic/wind loads on buildings.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, temporary works, and their impact on design.
  • Solving complex problems.
  • Looking for innovative and out-of-the-box solutions and designs.
